    Ms. RaeAnn Kennedy was awarded the Beaver County Educational Trust StoryWalk Grant in the amount of $500.  The grant will be used in March to purchase books for students to receive at the StoryWalk event.


    Ms. Erika Kopsack was awarded a classroom project grant in the amount of $3,000 through Eco Lab.  The grant will be used to provide supplies and items to assist with implementing The Daily 5 in her classroom.


    Ms. Marissa Smith received 3 iPads with cases through the Donors Choose Program.  She will be introducing the iPads to her students using her classroom curriculum.


    The Pennsylvania Department of Education awarded the Midland Borough School District a Safe Schools Initiative Grant in the amount of $19,625.  The grants are awarded to schools in order to prevent and reduce violent incidents through programs and security equipment.
